Hello!  My name is Nicola Harney - Career woman, wife and mother of two.  After my family and I moved to Grand Bend in 2020, I left my former career of over 15 years, as a Project Manager and have had the amazing opportunity to pursue a new career path in something I am passionate about, dance and fitness!

At the age of 9, I began training in classical ballet in the R.A.D. methodology and soon after was simultaneously training at The Lois Smith School of Dance at George Brown College in Toronto.  At 12 I was accepted as a full time student to Canada's National Ballet School, where I trained for three years in the Cecchetti method, followed by an acceptance to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet school as a full time student at age 15.    I have had the privilege to have trained in many other dance genres and with many world class teachers along the way.

As part of my career shift, in the spring of 2021, I have become a CPD Accredited teacher of Ballet be Fit (the first Ballet be Fit instructor in Canada!)  Ballet be Fit is a unique fitness class out of the U.K. which is  a fun, yet challenging ballet inspired workout for adults ages 18-65.

I am also extremely excited to introduce a licensed children's program to Grand Bend in the fall of 2021 called Dancely.  Dancely is a brand new pre-school program  for ages 3-6 which is designed to engage children in dance and is set to award winning music by the creators of Disney, Marvel and Netflix.

We also offer recreational dance classes for children ages 4 and up, as well as adult classes.  All classes are set to wonderful music, and encourage inclusivity, fitness and mobility while building strength and confidence at any age.  Please see below for our class offerings.
